Welcome to TerribleCat Music ("we," "our," or "us"). We're an original music streaming app and independent label built by and for musicians. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TerribleCat app, website, and any related services. By using our platform, you agree to follow these rules.
If you don't agree, don't use the app.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the app. If you're under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian.
If you're an artist submitting music, you must own or control all rights to the music and content you provide. No stolen tracks, no unlicensed samples, no AI-generated junk — this is a human-made music platform.
Some features require you to create an account. Keep your login details private — you're responsible for what happens under your account.
If you think someone else is using your account, contact us through the Support section in the app.
You own your music.
We own the design, layout, branding, code, and functionality of TerribleCat.
You agree not to copy, clone, or repurpose the app or its design for your own platform, service, or tool.
If you sign up for a paid tier:
Free users may hear occasional messages or promotional content. We don't use invasive ads and never sell your personal data.
You can delete your account anytime through the app.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you break these Terms or misuse the platform.
We're doing our best, but:
Use it responsibly.
All rights, title, and interest in the TerribleCat app, website, design, branding, trademarks, and underlying technology belong to TerribleCat.
You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, distribute, scrape, or otherwise exploit the app or its contents without our written permission.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claims related to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
If you do something that causes legal trouble (like uploading stolen music or breaking these Terms), you agree to cover any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) that come our way because of it.
If we ever have a serious dispute, we'll try to work it out informally first.
If that doesn't work, the dispute will be handled through binding arbitration in New York under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
If you bring a claim against us and lose, you agree to pay our reasonable legal fees and costs. If we bring a claim against you and lose, each side covers their own costs.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA. Any disputes must be resolved in New York County, New York.
We may update these Terms occasionally. If we do, we'll notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
